Hit the string on the ground.

It's really nice and comfortable. I have a shed and I need it to have light so I can see the attic. Before I had this entrance I had to use a flashlight, but climbing stairs with one hand was never a good idea. I also wanted to make some outlets there because that's where I need to reload my ammo and fire a brass toggle switch, so I wired up the inside of the shed and installed three outlets and a light. I drilled a 1 3/4" hole in the side, fed a wire through the hole, connected it to the inlet and installed it. All in all I got it done in less than 10 minutes (not counting the shed wiring). Now all I have to do is run an extension cord to the shed and plug it in from the outside. No more fumbling with floor cords or extension cords.I gave it a four for weatherproofing because the flip ring is semi-rigid rubber and doesn't completely fill the outside wall of the shed seems. The rainy season is coming soon so I'll see if it will weatherproof without embedding it. Seems to be made for flat/smooth surfaces. Bottom line it does exactly what I need. Very glad I found it .
