I bought and installed two of these fans for our covered patio and they look great but after a few months of use the lights keep going out. We'll have to keep the remote handy to turn it back on. The fan keeps running, but the light doesn't come on for a while. Both devices behave the same. At first I thought it was a different type of remote intervention, but we've now given up on using light because it's so annoying. I try again from time to time but they turn off between a few seconds and a few minutes.
