Review on Philips Sonicare EasyClean HX6511 sonic toothbrush, white by Siu Siu ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

After using a regular brush for a while, I moved to an electric brush from a different manufacturer, went back to using a regular brush for a while, and finally, I purchased this particular brush about a year and a half ago. I wanted it with Sonicare and I was not mistaken; objectively speaking, I enjoy it more than others, and I adjusted to using it in a short amount of time (though I had already used an electric brush before). That tickled at first, but after a while I became accustomed to the sensation. I used to switch between this and a regular brush, but I eventually stopped doing that and now I only use this one twice a day. It seems to do a good job of cleaning, but if you switch back to your ordinary brush, you'll immediately see that something is off:) When using a regular toothbrush, the gums would bleed; however, when using this blood, there was no blood at all, and it appeared to clean more thoroughly. When I saw that the case was made entirely of plastic, my initial reaction was that there wouldn't be any rubberized portions, but in reality, the case is really comfortable to hold and will not slide out of your hands. The timer on the brush is set to turn off two minutes after it has been turned on, which is the default setting. There is also a very useful function called the quadpacer, which sends vibration signals every thirty seconds to let you know when to move on to the next brushing zone (upper and lower teeth from the inside and outside for 30 seconds). It is possible to buy any cleaning head you choose for your Philips brush, which is one of the most significant benefits of using Philips brushes in general and this particular model in particular (although they are not cheap, like any consumables, but they are in any store). I change them approximately once every four months, which is a little less frequently than what the instructions recommend. The charging takes place on a specialized stand that is sealed off from any moisture. The brush maintains its charge for a very long time; nevertheless, I was unable to specifically detect this phenomenon; however, it is certain that it can resist several weeks of brushing twice per day. At the end of the brushing session, when the battery is nearly gone, it vibrates and flashes the LED, alerting you to recharge it as soon as possible before the next brushing session. When I went on excursions in the past, I would bring a regular brush with me, but recently, I've started using this one instead; although it's heavier, I've become accustomed to using it. There is a slight absence of a cover or case that is suited for transit, but considering that this is still a budget model, you can accept this oversight.

Pros
  • - is effective at cleaning - maintains its charge for an extended period of time - comes with a wide variety of nozzles
Cons
  • - with the notable exception that there is insufficient protection for transportation
