The documentation says that when using the Smart Life app, a QR code leads to their own Teckin app. The Smart Life app does not connect. The Teckin app's basic mode requires my phone to connect to a 2.4GHz network. This is problematic as my wireless router is configured with the same SSID for 2.4 and 5 GHz. In short, it didn't work. I tried AP mode which didn't work either, keeps telling me can't get wifi name even though I connected my phone to Smarlife-xxx network. You will make your way back.
