Review on BigBlue Lightweight Waterproof Compatible Generators by Jeff Robeson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Half rated power. Emits strong high-frequency noise.

Before purchasing, I found online reviews warning that Chinese solar panels only perform at half their rated output. So I bought one that was at least twice what I actually needed. So yes, it can put out up to 20W+ in the middle of a bright, sunny day if you point it directly at the sun. i can accept it However, this is not the biggest disadvantage. I don't care about the USB outputs as I only use the 19V output for a separate RF silent solar charge controller. The built-in solar controller is the cheapest a manufacturer can get. It appears to radiate more RF energy into the air than it puts into the 19V output. In fact, it emits so much RF noise across the entire RF spectrum that it's surprising the FCC doesn't ban their sale. Unfortunately, the built-in solar controller for USB charging ports cannot be bypassed. In fact, you have to permanently damage the plastic casing around the built-in controller to open it. i give it back I am particularly disappointed as I was expecting to use this solar panel for a ham radio expedition very soon.
