This is my second Seagate 5TB hard drive. It should be noted that data transfer via USB 3 is very, very slow. It took over 26 hours to transfer 2.1TB of video! Please note that this device comes with a 3 year warranty. My first one died 3 weeks after the warranty expired! Of course, that leaves no way out, but I still needed a 5TB drive and this was an alternative. Expect to pay around $30 a year for the privilege of having this storage, BUT WHEN YOU FIRST SHOW A PROBLEM, BE READY TO SAVE YOUR DATA AND MOVE TO ANOTHER DRIVE.
