Works exactly as it should
Bought for my daughter now planning on getting one for myself. Many thermometers don't reach the necessary high temperatures, but this smog does. We made a frosting that required a very high temperature of melted sugar - this worked great. I plan on replacing the one I have with this one - more versatile
