My wife bought them. She likes the smaller paring knife and it works for her. They seem a little fragile to my hand but we have had them for over 2 years now and they have held up very well. Rust-free and still very sharp. We wash them immediately after use and dry immediately. We keep them on a magnetic stand on the side of the fridge. We often use a cheese slicer and a bread slicer and they work really well. Nice set for $ but I wouldn't use them for heavy work but it's a great backup set. Update: I gave up and decided to give it a try as my partner will only be using these knives. Yes she is right. These are great knives and these are the only ones I use now. But be careful, they are very sharp. We hand wash them and dry them immediately to keep them looking and performing their best. Increase your rating from 4 to 5 stars.
