The good quality and long durability of this item is out of the question, undeniable.I have two females, one is a 3 years old short hair Dutch Shepherd (46 lbs) and a puppy, 7 months old (45 lbs) PitBull and Labrador mix. Both gorgeous! :)So the Shepherd is a really energetic herding dog and the puppy is not only already huge but still on training. Myself, 115 lbs 5 3’. I don’t take my dogs for a walk, my dogs take me!So I tried all kind of leashes and nothing change, still my walks were frustrating and still I refused to walk one dog at the time. ( cause I don’t have that time!).So yes, this dual dog leash is durable and great quality and the price is a steal, but still I struggled a lot and got tangled sometimes, I felt the length of the leash was too long and I couldn’t get "the grip”.I know I’m up for a challenge but besides patience I need a good grip. That handle feels comfortable at first but that is not enough.This leash would be for sure a 5 stars review if I was instead, the owner of two poodles that just love to prance. Cause in that case the leash would work absolutely perfect.UPDATE march 21st 2021It has been over a year ( given or take) since my review of the dual leash and even do Tesla & Sierra remain energetic and active now they are used to each other ( still a slightly sight of competition of who’s nose takes first position but is not crazy scary as my walks used to be :)Appreciating the commitment of the manufacturer contacting regarding my initial thoughts of the dual leash, that I really like because of its solid quality and also loved it more because of the idea of keeping an arm/ hand free on my long walks ( really, I love my girls and is nothing I won’t do for them but sometimes I feel like a prisoner during walks like this past winter was brutal maneuvering passing a leash to just one hand and removing my glove so I could pick up after their business, blow my nose or check the screen of my phone for a second).So better times ahead now and hopefully and will update again with pictures and share our walks on the trails now that both girls are not pulling me and did learn how to walk next to each other, happy tails, happy mom, and HAND FREE FINALLY ! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾P.S: I saw few reviews that show/comment about the leash falling apart literally, and I just cannot see how that can happen comparing my experience with the leash that I had received that is built to last. BUT BUT, sometimes things go wrong and then it could be a defect regarding the material or during the manufacturing process and when/if that happens .my humble advise is to contact the seller to do an exchange, the main thing is that if the dual-leash concept worked for your pack, then you can give it a second chance, everybody deserves one.ask your dogs for a second opinion if needed ! 🐕‍🦺🦮
