These are the worst chef shoes I have ever worn in over 20 years in the hospitality industry. After 2 months the sole cracked and after 4 months the skin started to tear. Good thing it doesn't slip in the kitchen, but they're dangerous, dangerous even on any other oil-free surface. I've slipped a few times, just in the yard or in the store, and I'm not a geriatrician using life warning. I think they're fine if you want to drop a slip at the grocery store and make a case claim. I'm just going to buy another pair of clogs for $25 from Wal-Mart and that's it. At least I know I can get a good 2-3 years out of it.
