I ordered it as a gift with engraving, so I preferred the Apple website. I can recommend the tablet for purchase as a fairly powerful and convenient device for every day without serious professional tasks and at the same time with an attractive design of the Pro model. I don’t know why many people consider the lack of support for a 120 Hz screen to be a fundamental drawback - if this is critical, then you can pay a little extra and take the Pro 2022, which will stop ating two years earlier than the Air. Here it depends what is more important. I take devices for 4-5 years and their relevance in terms of software is more important to me.

Pros

The design with straight side edges in the style of the iPad Pro 2022 looks much more advantageous than the previous generation Air, which was difficult to distinguish externally from the regular iPad. If it’s also in gray, then in general it’s indistinguishable from the “firmware”. I generally like this color better, and chose it. Other colors seem very ambiguous and somehow frivolous to me. The performance of the device is traditionally high, no discomfort, which is not surprising with the top-end A14 processor. The results of comparative tests can already be found on the network - Air under normal load is not inferior to Pro 2022, the difference in digits is more noticeable under heavy graphic load (video and photo processing). For the average user, power and capabilities with a margin.

Cons

The button with the built-in TouchID sensor on the top edge of the tablet seems uncomfortable, but only at first it's a matter of habit and you need to get used to it. It is better to assign two fingerprints of the most comfortable fingers in landscape and landscape orientation of the tablet. The cost of the device will not be considered a disadvantage - hello to the fallen, in dollars the price has grown slightly, which can be explained by a serious upgrade of hardware and a fundamentally ated design.
