I wanted a good set but didn't want to spend more than 400 euros. This set arrived today. What a treat. wrapped in a heavy duty double lined tool roll. In this way, the chisels are not accidentally pierced during sharpening. Each remedy is wrapped in polyethylene and the tips are dipped. It smells dry so the manufacturer/dealer took good care of it. There were 12 chisels in the set. Each is about 10 inches long and the handles are about 6 inches long. Metal - forged steel. Slightly light but manageable on less dense woods. The handles are also lighter than we'd like, but they're long enough to be gripped in different ways to make different cuts. The edges of the chisels look clean but need to be sharpened further before use. You expect to improve an $89 set, but probably not a $400 set. I probably have over 50 chisels. Some are old, some cheap, and some I keep coming back to. I love this set. With some care I think it will work fine. A second set can be ordered to reduce sanding time on projects. I should admit.
