I rate this lamp 4 stars but only because I'm not a big fan of such WHITE light. But that's my personal preference. These are very beautiful lights and I'm getting used to the vibrant hue. These lamps give a very high level of light - I like it. Very easy to install. I'm not sure why the wire colors might go against conventional wisdom. The instructions say to connect black to white, not black to black. Light on, doesn't work. THEN I read a note on a small piece of paper that said to swap the wires if it didn't work - it works fine black to white. Spring. I plan to buy more of these lights.
