Having a job requiring long hours of work sitting at a computer and getting older, I decided to try this to work on balance and maybe core muscle tone. Within 10 minutes of using it, I developed migraine onset symptoms. Granted, I can get a migraine from the simplest of changes in my environment but this was telling. The result of using the wobble cushion indicated to me that it was having a positive effect on my muscles. I am able to use it for seated streching exercises which are a series of 15 one minute stretches. For that activity, I find it annoying because I really have to concentrate on balancing. That is not a criticism but another indication that it is effective - it is doing what it should. As long as you are willing to work with the cushion, it is a terrific adjunct to a fitness plan.
