Now, after half a year of use, I'm just enthusiastic about the thing. Can't beat the looks, moves way more air than it looks (never use top speed/in Houston), super quiet/silent and dependable/reliable for now! Overall a great purchase. I was very cautious and took a chance given the mixed reviews on this fan, but I'm building a "modern farmhouse" and aesthetically this fan fits as TI installed two electricians. Once hung, nothing. He hasn't moved. While we're trying to figure out why (I haven't shared a feedback history), I checked my Revain account to see if the return date has passed and it has. Yesterday! I asked if we could bypass the remote and just start it from the wall switch as the motor power was "hot". In the process, my electrician rebuilt the wiring harness, actually had to change the feed of a pair of wires (creepy), and wow everything works and works with the remote! As others have mentioned the high speed seems a bit slow but unlike many I find it moves quite a bit of air. I think it has a lot to do with the size of the fan, the size of the room and the distance from the floor to the fan. In any case, after only two hours of usage evaluation; looks GREAT, works absolutely fine (now) fingers crossed for durability!
