Review on 🚲 Folding Bicycle Display Stand - M-Wave's Space-Saving Solution by Nathan Vaughn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for light maintenance

I'm giving 5 stars minus the caveats knowing it wouldn't be perfect out of the box but it was the right price. I bought it to be able to do some light maintenance on my road bike from my relatively small apartment. I don't have room for a serious bike rack and wanted to be able to clean my chain, work on my derailleur, spin a wheel, etc. This works great for this simple job, especially since it's crumbling. .As others have said, it doesn't work very well with quick releases, but does work less than 5 minutes with a corrected file. I shaved off some plastic on the side of the quick release to reveal the gap and made some extra room in the middle for the special shape of the trigger. It only took a few minutes and then my bike was just right. Unfortunately there isn't a quick and easy lock to get my bike in and out, but since I use it for maintenance instead of getting my bike in and out every day, that's not the case. issue for me. The photos show the bike on a stand, you can see the small notch I made. In another photo, the untouched side is compared with the one sawn off. The notch is the most visible part, but the common opening has also been expanded a bit. I only dismounted a bit and tried the bike a few times before figuring it out.
