Determine methods for drilling straight holes, not for the faint of heart.

Drilling straight holes in wall and shelf is critical. I had a Black and Decker drill guide for the walls and adapted the drill press for the shelves. The Batoda hardware can be bent slightly (emphasis on slightly) to fit the shelf holes after the hardware is installed in the wall. We used 1 3/4" thick shelves, a 19/64" shelf hole requires at least 1" thick shelf, preferably thicker. The shelves are well placed and look great.
