The product was exactly what I needed for my new vinyl sheet stair treads. The dogs, each weighing 10 pounds, were in such a hurry to get up the stairs that they kept slipping. I used alcohol wipes to wipe down the stairs first and then apply them. I taped one corner down first, then left 6 inches from the back of the stairs all the way down. It worked great. I had to move a corner with an air bubble. Some movers are bringing in a heavy oak table and it looks like they've scratched one of the bottom hinges. So I will buy some extras for those occasions. The good thing about the cassette is that my parents didn't know it was there until I pointed it out to them. The transparent tape disappears after application. You can put it in perspective, but it doesn't detract from our new LVP floor. It's textured but doesn't feel like sandpaper. Legs.
