This is a solid product with a good weight. The vintage style makes them more appealing than more modern boxes with a traditional spout in my opinion. There are holes in several places on the sides as well as on the back, giving you many options for cable management. The brass blades are very strong and make good contact with connectors. Inside there is enough space for cables. One thing to note, however, is that unlike most traditional outlets these days, there is no way to separate two plugs and leave them on separate circuits. The regular plug has a brass tab that can be unscrewed to separate one socket from the other on the same bracket. You can't do it with that. The outlets are connected on either side by large, strong brass rods, each attached to the bracket with a single rivet. Even if you cut the hoop to separate them, one side would no longer be attached to the mount. I was hoping to use this for a vintage sewing machine and connect an output for a foot pedal controlled motor and an output for a light, but since they are connected it doesn't work for my purpose.
