As many have pointed out it comes rolled up in a tubular box and you'd think it would never lay flat. But it is so. I left mine upside down on the underfloor heating vents in my house with a small load because it was cloudy and cold outside when I got them. It fell apart overnight and then I put it in the trunk of my son's 2020 Camaro 1SS. He is a footballer so his football bag and other items in his trunk are often covered with grass, sand or dirt but this does a great job of protecting 80-90% of the trunk area (flat floor area). . This makes vacuuming the trunk much easier than trying to remove sand and grass from the factory carpet. The fit of the carpet is very good.
