Caffe Fasset is back!

This book contains reproductions of quilts designed by Caffe Fasset, Lisa Pryor Lucy, Pauline Smith, Roberta Horton, Brandon Mabley and Mary Mashuta from some of the previous collections became. to Fassett. From Kaffe Fassett's Country Garden Quilts we have S Block, Star Bouquet and Chintz designs; from Kaffe Fassett's Quilts in the Sun: 20 Designs from Rowan for Patchwork and Quilting, there are two versions of the Frames quilt and a new version of the Chelsea quilt called the Summer Chelsea. There are new versions of Blue Star, Big Bang and Pastel Gridlock from Kaffe Fasset's Caravan of Quilts (Patchwork & Quilting Book 6)]; Chevrons, Romantic Rose, African Huts, My Fair Lady and the All-Season Garden from [[ASIN: 1904485405 Caffe Fassett's Way of Quilting: Patchwork and Quilting, Book Number 7 and Cutting Corners and Two Up and Two Down from Caffe Fassett's Quilting Novel : 20 drawings by Rowan for patchwork and quilting (patchwork and quilting). A mix of Fassett, Mally and Jacobs fabrics were used and some are no longer available on the major websites on the internet including the Glorious Color website run by Lisa Pryor Lucy. But for the most part, substitutions can be made. In fact, that's one of the things you can learn from this book - how to use what you have and not get hung up on the need for any particular stuff. The photos of the patchwork quilt were taken in the Bulgarian countryside. The book includes templates, cutting and assembly instructions, and measurements for finished quilts. For the most part patterns are beginner or intermediate, with the exception of quilts like the Big Bang which are 100% diamonds (note all those beveled edges and use lots of starch on the fabric). so they don't stretch). As in other Fassett books, the stars are rich and lush fabrics; They make relatively simple patchwork patterns shine. Highly recommended for all step levels. (The formatting errors in this review are not mine - they appear no matter what I do.)
