Review on πŸ”© WingIts RC MAWSD35 6 Drywall 32 Inch Stainless: Premium Wall Anchor for Sturdy Installations by Jerardo Phi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A bit tricky at first but great if you do the first or second; very strong, easily weighs over 200 pounds

I will admit that initial use is a little counterintuitive, but after using one or two you will see results. Requires a 0.5" drill bit, pilot drill a hole in the drywall. Extend the edges a few millimeters in each direction or you'll have to fight them to get them into the hole. Holds about 200 pounds of bookshelves each about 36 inches wide with only 3 brackets per shelf, no sagging or other issues. Note that tightening a screw may not engage threads; Be patient, the screw only pulls VERY, so you don't FEEL the handle until you turn just a little. Then it immediately tightens. Easy to align as they give out a little until screwed in very deep, so excellent for horizontally mounting heavy bookshelves. The downside, of course, is the distance; You need to leave the brace in the wall (pull out the outside and let the inside fall down the wall. Then of course you need to patch a big hole. Best for semi-permanent use.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
