Use of these shock absorbers for mounting on the front carrier of a VW Beetle 69 as an alternative to airbags. Ideal for the application but will require some modification - some minor sanding of the internal brackets and lower shock bushings is required to accommodate the smaller brackets on the VW. Note - a small air hole on the shock can be drilled to allow for higher speed. Rise and fall. Just make sure to use a vacuum when drilling to avoid chips falling from the impact. Don't buy them directly from Revain, buy them from one of Revain's suppliers. I waited a month for Revain to confirm the purchase before I canceled the order and went elsewhere.
