Description of πŸ”§ Max-Air MA756 Air Shock Absorber by Monroe Shocks & Struts

MAINTAIN RIDE HEIGHT UNDER LOAD -- Air chamber can be inflated or deflated up to 150 PSI to maintain level height with additional weight up to 1,200 lbs. (capacity is limited by suspension, tires and transmission; see owner's manual). EASY TO ADJUST -- Special air fitting resists air leakage and ties into factory system (where applicable) or manually inflates with an air compressor; pair with Monroe air shock accessory and shock air hose AK kits (varies by application). EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING -- Full-displaced valving on compression and extension cycles for a smooth ride. BUILT TO LAST -- Hardened and precision ground piston rod for consistent performance, sintered iron piston for enhanced durability and longer service life and lubricated air sleeve reduces friction for smooth operation. CONSISTENT RIDE -- OE all-weather fluid contains special modifiers to handle extreme temperatures and help reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction.

1966 VW Beetle on parts

Delivered quickly, works well on my 1966 VW Beetle (front) Not white as pictured (the ones I received are black) (which isn't for me does not matter, but for some it will) In general, I am satisfied with my purchase

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll write later

Monroe = old reliable

Fitted on a 1976 Mustang II. Rubber was rubbing on the fender due to sagging springs and wider than the factory wheel/tire. Monroe installs in under an hour and knows how to build dampers as usual, no complaints.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

The rise of a particular air raid.

I have a 76 Mustang II chassis for a 34 Ford body with 20 inch rear wheels. Didn't jack car high enough to use this part number had to order another part number to get car high enough to mount tires with clearance.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • There are problems

Ideal for VW ball joint beams

Used these on my '67 VW Beetle with a 4" tapered ball joint. Ability to adjust the ride height by at least 4-5". I had to change the bottom bracket/bushing to fit my trailing arms, just drilled them through with a drill bit until the hole got bigger, which took an additional 30 minutes.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

MA756 shock absorber for VW Beetle Type1

Use of these shock absorbers for mounting on the front carrier of a VW Beetle 69 as an alternative to airbags. Ideal for the application but will require some modification - some minor sanding of the internal brackets and lower shock bushings is required to accommodate the smaller brackets on the VW. Note - a small air hole on the shock can be drilled to allow for higher speed. Rise and fall. Just make sure to use a vacuum when drilling to avoid chips falling from the impact. Don't buy them…

Pros
  • High tester marks for support and durability
Cons
  • No form required

99 f250 light front shock absorbers

This is a pair of shock absorbers although it is not mentioned anywhere in the description! was happy to find two shock absorbers in the package. I bought these for the front of my light F250 because I have a 9" Western Pro snow blower and wanted to help level it, but there are no listings for front air struts of any kind. for this truck or any other, so I compared the measurements and photos and came to the conclusion that they fit almost perfectly. keep it centered) They worked great to raise

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
