The IR remote works well.

I used this for the infrared remote control. I haven't worked with walls so I had to run this wire and it worked great. The only downside, and it was my fault, is that it's 3.5 and my IR connections were 2.5. I had to get an adapter but for quality and performance I give it 5 stars.
