Review on FORKPIE Automatic Rainforest Humidifiers Reptiles by Katie Evans

Works well but it's noisy and sensitive

Bought for my Chameleon case and it works great. It's pretty much a "set it and forget it" theme, where you enter the fog duration in 5 second increments and how many hours to wait between fogs. The water source for this model is any pitcher or bucket that you fill yourself. The pump simply draws water from this source and dispenses it into your mist configuration. I have a hose connected to two nebulizers for good coverage and it works great. One of the nice bonuses is that if there is a power failure the device will store its last setting in memory so it will continue at the set interval. If you are in the same room you will definitely hear it. a tube. The tube is strong but at the same time very stiff. It will take a lot of work to start the tube and not let it bend back to its spiral memory. The panel itself is a capacitive touch interface and it is VERY sensitive. The lightest touch activates one or more buttons, either turning the device off, changing the interval, or even switching it to always-on mode. If it's somewhere where it can be accidentally hit or another animal can rub against it, it can be quite a hassle. For this reason, I would prefer mechanical buttons on the device.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
