I have been using these bags for six month and I really want to love them. I use them exclusively for royal icing cookie decorating and macarons as a hobby baker. These bags are thin and textured, easy to fill (I use a tall glass to hold the bag), and easy to use.I have used them with bag/chip clips, pastry bands, rubber bands, but mostly prefer just twisting the top. And extra royal icing freezes perfectly in these bags!Unfortunately, the bags I received have a tiny seam at the tip impeding in any small intricate design, line, and lettering work. I would not recommend these bags for this use. Also, because these bags are so thin, they do not support a thicker (15 or more second) icing. I have yet to have a bag actually explode! But you can see bulging in the picture.I feel like these bags are great for decorating with tips. I will use two bags to hold the tip and icing in place for decorating and also for macarons batter. They are excellent for DIY kits. And are also perfect tipless bags for flooding.
