Review on Immersive Gaming Audio: Logitech G935 Wireless DTS:X 7.1 Surround Sound LIGHTSYNC RGB Headset - Black/Blue by Shaun Jdi ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

The Asus Centurion 7.1 is out of order - a nightmare model and a complete failure, not worth the money. Positioning in games and wearing comfort are excellent, a chic delivery set - there are no more pluses. I decided to tie up with wires, but I needed a gaming headset not only for games, but that would be solid and high quality. I was surprised that many other models turn off the microphone when charging. There is no such thing here! After reading the reviews, I decided to take the g935. The packaging is miniature. I even thought that the store mixed up the headphones and brought the wrong model. The box is 2-2.5 times smaller than from Centurion. In terms of weight, it looks like it's empty. The set includes only headphones, a cable for charging and a wire for connecting via cable. The length of the wires is enough for the average user. My computer is modern, Win 10 64bit license. Headphones and software installed without dancing with a tambourine. Headphones are comfortable, multifunctional, high quality. Compared to the Centurin (real 7.1), the g935 is head and shoulders above them in terms of sound, ergonomics and functionality. Indicator off the microphone is dim. The micro itself is very good. RGB is beautiful somewhere on the stand, but here it is the enemy of the battery. At 40% brightness of the backlight, the ears sat down to 20% in almost 8 hours, of which 35% fell on the backlight, judging by g-hub. I left only the logo at 20% to see that the headphones are working. In the absence of sound, the headphones turn off by themselves, which is convenient. G-HUB unites all devices under one profile and here: The <<default>> settings are lost. You can configure either for one game without changing profiles or desktop. If you leave to change profiles, then the next time you start the desktop again, you need to change it manually :( Contrary to advertising, this software !NOT! intuitive! After 6 years on LGS, the G600 mouse set up an hour! Assignments cannot be entered into the button yourself. You must first find it in the list, and then hold it down and transfer it to the mouse diagram! I still haven't figured out where to make an alternative set of macros for one profile. G-HUB is a complete failure. Let me at least choose LGS for the mouse!

Pros
  • 1) Wireless (The signal breaks through two walls, the headphones work both over the air and over the wire) 2) Light (Smaller than they look in the picture. But the ear covers completely) 3) Sound (Headphones-combine: Games, movies, music) 4) Microphone (continues to work when the charging wire is connected) 5) Virtual 7.1 in G935 is better in sound quality than in Asus Centurion 7.1, but positioning is worse. 6) Programmable g-buttons (you can bind keys, macros, commands, launch other applications) 7) High-quality assembly and appearance. Metal rim in the headband.
Cons
  • 1) A beggarly package, as if to reduce the price of the final product, they decided to save on investment and packaging . But the price is not so small. There are no replacement ear pads. Only the ones on the headphones. If only a couple of rags were put in for the summer. 2) G-HUB. The modern interface of this new software, which replaced Logitech Gaming Software, is a clear example of degradation. 3) RGB eats up the lion's share of the charge! Nibbling: I would like to lower the microphone below, so that it would not callous peripheral vision.
