Good design, difficult to assemble
You will need to purchase a ball hitch to assemble this strut if you don't already have one. You can lock bikes by buying their lock and locking the hitch insert pin, but you can't stop anyone from taking the ball off and taking the bikes and hitch. Also, the rack rotates on the ball, so I had to use a U-bolt to keep it from twisting and the bikes from touching my SUV. Nice solid construction, too bad it doesn't slip straight into the clutch.
