THEY LICK! for compression fittings
got these for my new 180g reef aquarium and they started leaking immediately. Teflon tape / silicone / hand tight / wrench tight. it was still dripping from the double o-ring at first there was a leak later i noticed that the thin threads in the bulkhead even with teflon tape let water through! I haven't had to redo the plumbing in any tank I've ever had until I use it. Save money, buy something heavy where it matters.
