The best way to hand wash dishes

Until I got this brush I was never satisfied with a washcloth or sponge for hand washing, a chore I really dislike. This dish brush is really good. I'm impressed with how well he washes dishes. Actually I like using it. Other reviewers noted that it falls off a bit and wears out quickly. Luckily, on first use I noticed that it was the horsehair tips that did all the cleaning, so pressing down on the bristles didn't improve the performance of the bristles and caused the brush to wear out quickly. Never use a brush. "Elbow lubrication" with this brush. The trick is to use as light a touch as possible. Simply run the tips of the bristles lightly over dirty dishes to remove almost any mess with ease. If the dirt doesn't come loose, I'll agitate it quickly and CAREFULLY rubbing back and forth over the stain for a few seconds, and that usually helps.(I clean up anything that doesn't come off with a nylon scraper.) The curved end allows me to hang the brush on the windowsill over the sink.I keep a small bowl with some dish soap nearby so I can barely touch the tips of the bristles before using.I love that such a beautiful, old fashioned, eco friendly product has turned out to be the best way to hand wash dishes do the washing up!
