This is a LARGE comb. The handle is exceptionally ergonomic and the bristles are strong enough to run through hair but soft enough not to break it. I bought my first one 15-20 years ago. After about 12-13 years I dropped it from a very high height onto a very hard floor and the handle broke. 2 bought. I love it and use it daily. My husband recently started using it and thought it was great too. So I bought him his own. All are happy. And just for the record, I glued my first one back together and it's like new. Keep it as a fallback.
