It really works! I had problems with the flatfish population because I could not save the juveniles for a long time. There was a pregnant woman that looked like she was about to explode, so I bought it hoping the boys would have somewhere to hide. I let them float because I didn't have any floating plants. I've also read of other customers having great success swimming instead of tying these things. Today (2 days after they were placed) I saw that the female had a much thinner belly so I started looking for young. And now one of them was hiding in the floating grass to breed! I looked around and was able to save four pups in total, which is more than enough to keep my pelvis running. It was worth the cost of growing weed. I'm a lucky tourist.
