I bought this game because I teach English to ESL kids and I thought dinosaurs would interest kids more in the letter part of the "dino writing" part of the game, than just playing on the spot. It's essentially the same as adding dotted words, adding more elements, and making the game educational. The kids love it. But I didn't know there were 3 other games with the same deck! Sure, there are saves, but there are other, more interesting games like dinoROAR, which seems to be the kids' favorite because it contains elements of special maps that can help or hurt other players. I am very happy with this game. I will say that there are many directions (for many games) so I would suggest just playing one at a time until you get the hang of it. I also found the rating system in DinoWRITE to be a lot of work and I developed my own simplified rating system.
