I wanted a comfortable casual jacket that would keep me warm in the Michigan winter without spending a lot of money. I tried this boys jacket in size XL and it fits! It's so warm that I sometimes have to take it off in the car when it gets hot. It was already a very cold and snowy Michigan winter, and I was still warm in my coat. Also, for the record, I'm 5ft 8in, medium weight, and have a large chest. The jacket fits without being too tight and I can easily wear oversized sweaters and sweatshirts underneath. The sleeves are long enough with an extra layer to fit the body snugly and the length is slightly below my waist. So if you're a woman looking for an inexpensive jacket for very cold days, this is a great option, even if it's made for a child.
