I love this coat! Initially, the size was not entirely clear and it was a bit tight. But the omnidirectional heat reflection technology really works! The fur itself does not cause any problems either. The only small issue I had was that I would suggest you look at the variety of colors.

Great jacket. Excellent quality. My 8 year old loves this, it's his favorite winter/spring/fall jacket. I bought him size M (he's a bit small for his age) but he's great for this year and maybe next year.

I love this coat! We bought an extra small one for my 5 year old. It's a bit long in the arms but it grows into it! Warm and not fluffy!

For a Columbia product this was a real disappointment. A very light jacket in every respect. If you're buying it to wear in your 40s and 50s, you should be fine. Under 40 and under there will be problems. My son said his Under Armor sweatshirt was warmer than this jacket. We sent it back as we were looking for something heavier.

I have this women's jacket and my son really wanted it, so glad I found it for him and at a great price. it doesn't look much like a jacket but it's so light and keeps you so warm, he couldn't be happier, i bought the next size up just to wear longer. Perfect jacket, we are both very happy with it

So light and yet warm. My son loves this! He is 14 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 107 pounds. I chose the size X-Large and it fits perfectly. Roomy enough for a hooded sweatshirt when it gets really cold.

I love this jacket! He grew up alone so we bought another one. This is ideal for cold Chicago weather. Light but very warm. I highly recommend.

Great warm light jacket. I have size M 10/12 for my 6 year old boy. Have plenty of room to grow. Definitely good for next winter. He loves his new jacket.

XL was good style and fit my skinny tall 14 year old. He's picky and indifferent (if you've got a teenager, you'll understand!) and loved the fleece-lined pockets. It would have been a real eye-catcher if it wasn't for the weird print on the fabric - it looks like it's covered in oil stains?!?!

Good coat! The coat is not bulky. It's light but very warm. My son is very thin. It was perfect for him! I only gave four stars as the outside of the coat doesn't seem very durable.

Purchased December 1, 2014, shoulder seam torn December 28. We've been fans of Columbia's innovative Omni-Heat technology for a number of years and have bought other jackets for the whole family, but Columbia seems to have missed the mark.

My son loves this. He wears an 8 in everything so I ordered this. Had to send him back for 10 and now he has a small grow room. He likes it when it's warm.

It is very similar to my lightweight Columbia Mighty jacket but with a little more insulation. And it really is a STYLE down jacket. He's not fat at all. Technology saves the day :)

My son loves his jacket! In Ohio this is very necessary. The real temperature yesterday was minus 13 degrees. He wears it with his Captain America hat and looks so cute and stylish! My son is 12, he is almost the same height as me, he is 5ft 7in. This coat is perfect. I tried it on to be sure. I'm glad I saw great reviews before purchasing. I have no doubts and will order it in the same XL for myself.

The XS is perfect for my slightly petite 5 year old son. He wears a 5T shirt and the size 6/S is a little big for boys. It fits like a size 6 so he should wear it longer. I also have one of these coats and it is very warm. I like the missing mass. My son complained that he was too hot in the car and I like that it's thin enough to be safely used in a car seat. The hood is great too, it really holds up without a drawstring. Large!

Size 10-12 is just right for my skinny 10 year old. He loves to. It's very light, very warm, very comfortable. My son's favorite part are legwarmers, they protect against the cold. The hood also covers the head very well, not too loose. I'm glad I got him that.

My 11 year old son has never loved a jacket so much. He loves how warm it is. Very light and thin, but says it wasn't warmer in the snow with just a hoodie underneath. I will definitely be ordering a replacement for him once he outgrows his current one. You can't go wrong with Columbia

That's a great jacket. I live in Oregon and it can get pretty cold here. But if it's going to be 15 degrees again this winter (I didn't have a coat at FROST at the beginning of the year), I'll probably need a warmer coat. This coat is ideal for temperatures up to 35 degrees Fahrenheit. It's comfortable and light. Also, I'm 5ft 2in and weigh about 105 pounds. I went with the kids plus size rather than spending more dollars on a women's jacket. She fits perfectly.

A little big for our nine year old, but I've been wearing the same coat two sizes too small for a couple of winters. Super light, comfortably warm, he loves it.
