I've tried at least six harnesses for my two adventurous cats. Most are seriously flawed. The Voyager Buckle Harness (Model 217) is the best harness I have ever tried for cats. Advantages: 1. Three buckles allow you to put the harness on and off without pulling anything over the cat's head. In my opinion it is necessary for a cat harness.2. Practically protected against escape. No escapes yet! 3. No velcro to scare the cat.4. Wide range of colors and sizes to choose from.5. Availability Disadvantages: 1. This is NOT a step hanger. This is a buckle strap with three buckles.2. The size is not exact. Size XS is actually a bit big for my cats with 8" neck and 14" chest.3. The clasps could be better. If you don't insert them exactly straight, they won't snap into place. Cats move when you put on a harness! 4. The images on Revain do not match the product. The harnesses I received have two "D" rings in the front and one in the back instead of a "D" ring towards the center. This gives you two places to attach the leash, but to be honest I would have liked a ring in the middle. The rear D-ring (which I use) tends to fold under the harness making leash attachment difficult.
