As there were many complaints about removing film I was reluctant to buy but thought I could fix it. Yes, good luck and I like the frame. I have included a series of photos to show how to remove the protective film. Don't be hasty. Don't try to rip it off. Don't try it with the razor blade. Take your time. Start at the corners. I used my sketch. Then use your finger or thumbnail to press down on the foil along the long edge of the acrylic. You want to be able to gradually and slowly remove and fold the entire sheet. Just lift your thumbnail, pull and roll a little on the acrylic frame. I haven't tried it, but I'm wondering if a BRIEF use of a blow dryer would help loosen the film in the corner. This can pose a fire hazard, so do it briefly to see if the corner comes up more easily.
