Shifter looks great on the Z28 center console and looks neat. but i installed this switch and thought it was me who didn't know how to use the slap stick mode but now after speaking to b&m they think the switch is defective and its return has expired . It takes two clicks to get into shift mode, and then when you think you're going to engage 3rd gear it goes into neutral, resulting in another click of BACK to move. I removed the B&M pistol grip for this bad switch. B&M support said it was rare but it doesn't look like a setup issue as it properly downshifts and goes into park mode.
