Unlike the 1990's and early 2000's, standard air filters in most modern cars are actually as good as K&N and filter even better in terms of airflow. For example, the new Toyota Corolla's air filter is as good as or better than K&N's. I've actually gotten worse riding K&N. I'll return to the stock filter when it gets dirty. Save money and use bearing air if you have a modern car. I only recommend them for very old cars with bad air filters.
