Measure the quality of your bath.
I bought this mainly for decoration and not for use as I don't use my bath but all the reviews have been for much smaller baths. It barely fits the end of my tub to go from end to end. I guess I didn't realize the strength of my tub but it works for what I bought it for. Not bad quality, looks solid. I have one heavy candle on it now and will add more later, but it doesn't look like there will be any problems with aging.
