It worked while it lasted.
Block helped me install laminate in the upstairs hallway and part of the bedroom before it broke. About half of the side with the double notch is broken off. The other half is still usable, but I'm concerned that the hammer's force won't apply to the entire block and could damage the floor. For under $10 a plastic block it's worth it, but if you have a lot of floors to install I'd recommend buying a second one just in case the first one breaks.
