First, the brand really deserves its 'elegant' namesake; It was [at first] a very attractive and elegant collar. At the same time, after only five months, it decomposes into the state shown in the photos. It is worth noting that these five months passed fairly quietly. I had back pain for a few months and in the winter our apartment building produces excessive amounts of salt so walks outside were very infrequent and the collar was worn almost exclusively indoors. We hand washed the collar twice (with soap made specifically for hand washing clothes). ), and after a few weeks it's still getting pretty messy. We specifically protected the fittings from soapy water when washing, so the matte look is only due to 4 months of light "wearing". We decided to give it another try (again, this is a very elegant collar) after contacting the seller and promising a replacement collar. That was a few weeks ago and still no replacement. I've just ordered a new collar (from a different seller) as I expect my collars to last more than a few months - and at this rate of wear I really don't trust it for walks.
