Appears identical to a 2" RC lift for less money. By following the RC instructions or YouTube videos you will have all the knowledge you need to install this kit. The lift requires a spring compressor to fully raise 2 inches, so keep that in mind. When removing the strut seat, soak it in PB Blaster or some other penetrating oil before attempting to remove it with a jackhammer or rubber mallet as it will be difficult to remove. I installed this on my 2021 Colorado Z71. With this kit installed, the truck sat about level, but I installed 1" blocks in the rear to maintain a 1" front angle while maintaining a taller and more aggressive front stance. Alignment will be required after this installation, but this is to be expected any time you loosen the steering knuckles and do front end work. I've been driving with the built-in kit for a little over a week and I'm satisfied. This changed the way the truck handled, however some claim the handling is a bit stiffer after installation. Bottom line, if you're looking for a 2-inch front lift, you're still using good stays up front and don't want to splurge on them. a good choice. Once those struts need to be replaced I will probably move on to another strut that offers 2 inches of lift with better travel than the stock strut.
