I know this diffuser has good ratings. It was actually my second one from this company. I have experience with diffusers and understand what features make them good. This time around I picked this model because of the app and wifi feature, so I can control it from my phone. So it's no surprise how frustrated and angry I was that I couldn't connect this diffuser to the app. Don't know if it was broken or it's just the technology issue.I know what you might think. This person is maybe too old and is not tech savvy. Well im not too old and I'm very tech savvy; it's my business to be tech savvy so if I couldn't get a diffuser hooked up to the wifi, then it's the diffuser. I trouble shot this in every way. That said, I gave it 2 stars and returned it. The one feature I wanted, I couldn't get. MOST IMPORTANT, if you can't use the app, you don't have full control of the diffuser because the device itself does not have the buttons you need, e.g. timerAs far as other features. 500ml is a lot so if you need that, this is good. It's quiet but not the most quiet. Sought of sounds like a little water fountain. The design is very standard, nothing fancy. The color selection is nice.If it wasn't for the wifi issue, I would still only give this one 3- 3.5 stars
