I bought this fan because it has a long flexible handle (most clip fans don't have long flexible arms with detachable clips) and also helps me with my night sweats/hot flashes. On those cold winter nights, my husband (dressed in layers) doesn't like it when I use the ceiling fan, he complains that it's too cold. Our house is set at 68°. Comfortable for almost everyone but oh no not for the woman (me) who deals with night sweats and hot flashes (I know TMI) but it's true! I use this fan every night and it has helped me a lot! I like the 3 speeds it keeps you really cool as a small fan. It has a flexible handle that you can bend into any position you need it most. I tend to point it towards the back of my head, which helps me cool down faster. It also comes with a clip base so you can attach the handlebar to the base and clip it where you need it, or just hold it in your hand without the base. Now for what I didn't like. only lasts 2-6 hours and since i use it to sleep the battery drains. Then I wake up and have to plug in the charger to use it again. I've left it on a couple of times, but I'm concerned that since it's a rechargeable battery, it will eventually ruin the battery and stop the fan. This is an opportunity I must seize. Also, it's not the quietest fan to use at night. Especially if you are used to quiet ceiling and floor fans. But overall it's worth the money if you need extra coolness in really hot moments! 😉
