Review on AUTOHAUX Washing Cleaning Polishing Sponge Car Care by Shawn Lamp

I really wanted to like this rug, I really liked it. It seemed like a great way to save time and effort cleaning my car's paintwork. And that's how it was until I saw my car in broad daylight. Although the surface remained completely wet (tested barely diluted washer fluid on one half, McGuire's Quick Parts Spray on the other) the pad left a swirling dark gray haze all over the car. I didn't notice this in room lighting (the color is also dark grey) and initially loved the block as my color was really smooth and glassy after each section. However, in daylight the whole car was covered with a foggy gray whirlwind. Removal requires either a real block of clay or perhaps some type of abrasive and hours of work. 🤦‍♂️ Could it be that I used too much drilling speed? I can't know as the notepad came with no instructions. Although I doubt it as I kept the speed pretty low as a precaution. To make matters worse, the black backing material came off completely after just 1 car and the pad can no longer be used with a drill.
