I spent a lot of time researching this and many others before deciding to buy this particular gate. Do not pay attention to reviews that the gate has design flaws. You are inaccurate. Gate very well designed. Advantages: Easy to assemble. Well made. Lockable or lockable. Easy to close / easy to lock / easy to open (even with one hand). Frame. Easily adjustable to fit almost any door frame. A heavy, durable metal that should provide years of trouble-free use. No corners and edges. Good paint. quiet work. I have purchased 6 of these gates in total and plan to purchase 2 more to keep my Pomeranian flock from wandering into spaces they think they belong but really have nothing to do with. Received broken, defective or maybe even a missing part but no, everything was 100% perfect. My only concern is that my smallest Pom "Sugar" might stick its tiny head through the bars, so my slightly "hanging" Pom Cookie is trying to stick its big head in and I'm afraid it might get stuck, but that's how it is so far does not happen. submitted. This is NOT a design flaw. The gate is of excellent quality and if I were the manufacturer I wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommended!
