After almost a year and 1000+ steel rivets from various suppliers in sizes 10-24 I gave up and bought them and have had no problems. The steel rivet nuts had processing problems, the threads would not go in from the start, they would get stuck at 80% of the pitch, and the previously good ones had slipped when pressed together. This results in a custodian bank rate of 20-30% or a just about acceptable bond. These stainless ones work great as all cage nuts show, work easily and every time. I've gone through 3000 cage nuts in the last 2 years and only recently switched to these stainless ones after getting too frustrated with the steel nuts.
