I've had a hate relationship with socks my entire life. I literally wear flip flops all year round until the ground gets an insane amount of snow. If I have to wear shoes, not socks. They never fit right (I have big feet and long toes) and keep my feet hot no matter the thickness or material. After 3-4 years of pretty serious hiking in search of photoshoots I realized it was time to take better care of my feet. They are always covered in blisters and abrasions after a good hike and take almost a week to fully recover. I found the Darn Tough quite by accident and did some research before deciding to buy a pair to test them out. They arrived just before noon yesterday and were so comfortable I didn't bother to take them off. This is the first time I've had socks on my feet in almost two decades, and I'll be wearing them all the time. The material is soft and light, the cushion is perfect and covers all the right places (including over the toe and over the ankle), the toe box is roomy enough and they stay in place. I didn't shut up and my husband bought several pairs of DT socks for work. These socks are amazing. I am about to order a few more pairs and DT will be the only company I will buy socks from again.
